According to the Aims of a BYU Education, a BYU education should be spiritually strengthening, intellectually enlarging, character building, and should lead to life-long learning and service. As you search for the Treasure of BYU you will be led through these four Aims.
This treasure hunt will take about 2–4 hours to
complete, and can be done all at once or a little at a time. It is divided into
four chapters, each highlighting one of the four Aims of a BYU Education and
focusing on a related aspect of BYU campus to explore. These chapters are
written in such a way that the solution of the first leads into the second, and
so on. Therefore, it is best to solve all the clues of a chapter before moving
on to the next.
This adventure was created with the intent to
entertain and to educate with regards to the campus and some history of
BYU-Utah, using the mystery and intrigue of a treasure hunt. As such, it does
not claim to be a comprehensive survey of all BYU has to offer (there are
enough comprehensive exams on campus already!). It should also be clear that no
money, artifacts, or any buried objects are involved in this hunt.
Internet sources are not necessary for this hunt. If
you need information, it is suggested that you use the BYU website (byu.edu), or the
Harold B. Lee Library website (lib.byu.edu), or—even better yet—ask someone!
Without further ado, I wish you the best of luck. Take
your time, observe your surroundings, and find joy in the journey. To access the treasure hunt, click here.
Let the adventure begin!

ReplyDeleteI have really been slacking on getting the link up and running on here...my sincere apologies for that.
DeleteI had issues getting a link to my PDF to work before. I will work on it and try to get it live as soon as possible. Sometime this week for sure.
Okay, I finally have the links working. Let me know if you have any more questions!
